Sysdrain
|
One
system, many possible applications
The ideal percolation
system for houses, garages, areas in use,
agricultural buildings, sports facilities,
carports, summer-houses, conservatories and
many other applications.
The demand for on-site percolation of
rainwater and thus for relieving the burden on
the public drainage system is arising ever
more frequently. Sysdrain ,
the plastic percolation shaft, represents the
ideal solution.
Given its low own weight and its modular
construction, it is extremely easy to
transport. Standard connections facilitate
simple and economical installation.
Drainage/percolation
Up
Roof drainage on new buildings and as
replacement drains. For example: residential
housing, weekend residences, log cabins,
garages, carports, conservatories,
agricultural buildings.
Drainage
of areas in use
Up
E.g. parking areas, entrances to courtyards,
childrenís play areas, sports facilities
Inspection
shaft
Up
To house the installation or as a pump well
for a garden pond or on a building site.
Cellar
drain
Up
Used in conjunction with the inlet module,
Sysdrain is
a cost-favourable and convenient solution.
Comprehensive installations for draining these
surfaces can be dispensed with. Simply install
Sysdrain pre-assembled
in the ditch, fill in, concrete in - job done!
Planting
trough
Up
To protect the trunk e.g. during building
work, as a plant container or to restrict root
growth.
Cisterns
Up
Using a hosepipe, Sysdrain transforms
into a small cistern (3 sizes for approx. 170,
340 and 510 litre capacity are available).
Extraction using an electrical or hand-driven
pump.
Note: cisterns (concrete or plastic) require
an overflow - Sysdrain is
especially suitable for this!
Sysdrain can
be stacked
Up
As a rule, up to three elements can be
stacked. In individual instances, 4 or 5
elements have already been successfully
installed on top of one another.
One
system, many advantages
Up
- Modular construction
- Extremely simple
assembly using a tongue and groove locking
system
- Lightweight (approx.
11 kg), making for ease of transport
- No need for heavy
machinery when installing
- Manufactured from
pure-grade HD-PE recycled material, which
can be recycled again.
- For the professional
and the private home-owner
- Also suitable for
large facilities
- Standard connections
(Ø approx. 100 mm), thus can easily be
integrated with existing peripherals.
- Relieves the burden
on the public drains system
- Percolation over the
entire upper surface of the shaft
- Can be customised to
suit particular requirements (stackable or
arranged as a battery)
- Greatly reduced time
required for installation
- Protective of the
environment, because it facilitates local
water percolation.
- Can be combined with
all standard trade inlet and drainage
pipes.
Inlet
module
Up
For direct water feed from above (e.g. for
drainage of areas in use) or to connect a
inlet pipe, Ø 150 mm.
Larger items trapped in the water are filtered
out in the integrated coarse sieve. The cover
of the inlet module and the coarse filter are
removable.
Shaft
element
Up
The pre-manufactured holes on the side walls
can easily be broken through using a hammer.
Sysdrain is
rapidly ready for use, due to the
tongue-and-groove construction system.
The small-diameter holes (18 per side element)
assist with large-area percolation.
The water exit direction can thus be defined
specific to use.
The large holes (3 per side element) form the
connection points for standard pipes (Ø 100
mm).
To increase capacity, two or three shaft
modules can be installed either as a stack or
arranged as a battery.
Cover
Up
The cover can withstand heavy loads. It is
held in position with 3 screws on top of the
prepared shaft. If a pond pump is installed
(water reservoir), the cover can be cut open
at the point marked.
Base
Up
When used as a water reservoir, the base is
inserted and serves to protect the hosepipe.
It is pressed in from above into the assembled
ring of the shaft and then sealed.
When used as a small composter, the base
serves as a lid.
Filter
fleece
Up
The filer fleece prevents ingress of sand and
other materials trapped in the water into the
percolation shaft.
It is simply laid around the percolation shaft
and attached to the outside using the
anchorage points provided. The filter fleece
is non-perishable and permanently
water-permeable.
Hosepipe
Up
Sysdrain can be converted to a water reservoir
using a hosepipe. 3 sizes (approx. 170, 340
and 510 litres) are available for different
capacity requirements.
The hosepipe is inserted into the shaft and
attached on the upper edge with the cover
fitted.
Adapter
Up
Using the adapter, you can attach a wide
variety of standard trade shaft coverings (to
be walked upon, internal diameter approx. 600
mm) and their accessories.
As a base ring, the adapter serves to
stabilise the shaft on the shaft floor.
